You’re invited to the Alliance’s February 26 meeting for a presentation by Robert Deyle, “Why is the Water Dark Part III.” Having demonstrated that low levels of tannins and chlorophyll cause low visibility conditions at times when Wakulla Spring was formerly clear aqua blue, Deyle will explore hypotheses about what has changed over the past 25 years that might explain why the spring experiences more frequent and more prolonged periods of dark water conditions that have curtailed glass-bottom boat tours.
